  We are used to eating at high ranked restaurants and many of the people in our groups are actually chefs..... which is why we realized immediately that the “steak”or as we called it : the rubber that we ordered was NOT an A.A.A piece of steak like it's written on the menu.... oh and a little hint to the “owner” .... answering a customer: “ the fact that you don't like the steak is your problem not mine, I do have some more but won't waste them on you “ is NOT a professional answer to give.

  Remember, the customer is always right and in that scene, you were VERY WRONG.... We take part in a lot of organizations and events in Laval and Montreal and we will NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant to any of our friends and entourage.

  Unfortunately, we ended up being extremely disappointed and shocked, not only from the food but from the very unappropriated behavior of the owner. A chef and more specifically an owner should strive for perfection but apparently it is not the case for Taiga Laval...

  Their site says gourmet cuisine!!! It has nothing to do even with half decent cuisine. Lounge maybe but a dinner forget it; you better off going to a fast food joint.

  We went there for my bday, we were 23 people. Drinks took forever to arrive, we even had beg to get our bottled water.

  we asked them to replace it and the owner showed up and told me and I quote, there is nothing wrong with the meat, it is your problem not mine, you are the only ones complaining I have more steaks but I will not replace your dish choose between salmon or chicken, we were 6 and we all declined the replacement and didn't feel like eating anymore. The owner was so rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Even those who ordered their meal with vegetables received mushy legumes, yellow color.

  Everything was ok until we got our main course, the chicken was ok, the salmon not so bad but the meat (steak) was horrible. We asked for medium and we all got well done. It was hard coulant cut it at all and the ones that managed to cut it said it was tasteless.
